What happened at Virginia Tech is simply unbelievable. I have no words. My prayers go to the victims and their families.

Reuters reports that a total of 61 people were shot by the perpetrator, who then shot and killed himself. 32 people, not including the shooter, were killed in two separate attacks approximately two hours apart, in two separate buildings on the Virginia Tech campus, making it the deadliest mass shooting perpetrated by a civilian in U.S. history.

According to CNN, authorities have identified the gunman who killed 32 people at Virginia Tech before turning the gun on himself as 23-year-old South Korean student Cho Seung-Hui.
