Finally! Ken Follet’s epic medieval saga The Pillars of the Earth – one of my all-time favorite novels – finally hits the small screen. The story is brilliant and given the length of the book (~1000 pages), I think it’s going to fit much better into the eight-episode mini-series than it would if someone were to try to adapt it to a movie. The mini-series premieres Friday, July 23rd at 10pm EST on Starz.
